Arewa24 Host Sparks Debate After Saying Women Shouldn’t Love Their Husbands

Arewa24 TV presenter and relationship coach Naomy Nancy David has triggered widespread reactions online after stating that a woman’s “first mistake” in marriage is loving her husband.

In a video now circulating on social media, the media personality argued that traditional marital roles should not be reversed. According to her, a wife’s primary role is to show respect and honor, not love.

“As a woman, you are not supposed to love your husband… that’s the first mistake,” she said, adding that women should avoid switching roles within marriage.

David maintained that men are the ones expected to love their wives “intentionally and unconditionally,” while women should focus on respect as their core responsibility.

She further stated that harmony in marriage depends on each partner playing what she described as their assigned roles, saying peace at home comes when “women respect and men love.”
