Kannywood actress Nafisa Abdullahi has stirred reactions online after criticizing men who keep women in long relationships without taking steps toward marriage.

In a video now trending across Facebook, TikTok, and Threads, the actress advised women not to ignore signs when a relationship shows no progress despite lasting for years.

“Ladies, do not let men continue to deceive you. If a man has everything—good character, money, and the means to marry you—yet you’ve been together for years without progress, take note,” she said. “Whether it’s been one year, two, three, or even up to five years, and he still hasn’t committed, you need to be careful.”

Nafisa also addressed repeated promises some men give to delay marriage plans. “If he keeps giving you the same excuse, saying ‘I’ll come forward soon’ again and again, the truth is that he is simply wasting your time. He has no intention of following through,” she stated.

She concluded with direct advice to women: “Use your head, understand the situation for what it is, and walk away.”
