Don Jazzy Says Trusted Contact Leaked His Phone Number for Sale

Music producer Don Jazzy has revealed that someone he trusted allegedly sold his private phone number to strangers, leading to a flood of disturbing calls.

Speaking on the Afrobeats Intelligence Podcast with Joey Akan, the Mavin Records boss said he has been repeatedly bombarded with calls from unknown individuals, many making bizarre or desperate requests for money.

He recounted that callers often make unusual claims, but when asked how they obtained his number, they admit to purchasing it from an unidentified source.

Don Jazzy described the situation as frustrating, noting that the constant interruptions forced him to place his phone on permanent “Do Not Disturb” (DND) mode to regain some peace.

The revelation has sparked conversations around privacy, trust, and the misuse of personal information in the digital age.
