UniJos Graduate, John Arum Regains Freedom After Kidnapping Ordeal
John Arum, a graduate of the University of Jos (UniJos) who was recently abducted by terrorists, has now been freed.
In a video currently circulating on social media, John appears alongside his family members, expressing gratitude to God for securing his release.
According to DAILY POST, an earlier disturbing clip showed the moment John—who was kidnapped along the Jos-Kaduna highway—was attacked by his captors.
The footage sparked widespread anger nationwide, with many Nigerians voicing concern over the deteriorating security situation.
Days after the clip gained widespread attention, some rumor spreaders claimed that he had been killed by the terrorists.
However, on Monday, April 20, the kidnappers released another video confirming that Arum was still alive.
