Wizkid Fan Xxsive Hails Davido as Africa’s Top Music Star After Carter Efe’s Live Session

Eseoghene Obire, popularly called Xxsive and known as the former partner of actress Nkechi Blessing, has sparked widespread discussion online after openly describing Davido as Africa’s biggest music artist, despite being a self-proclaimed Wizkid supporter. His comment surprised many fans and quickly gained traction across social media platforms.

The Nigerian singer shared his opinion in an Instagram video uploaded on December 17, 2025, shortly after Davido appeared on Carter Efe’s Twitch livestream. The livestream attracted massive attention and became a major talking point within the entertainment community.

During the live session, Davido joined Carter Efe on stream and went a step further by placing a phone call that helped Carter Efe secure a brand endorsement deal with Martell in real time. The moment made history, as the stream reportedly became Africa’s most-watched Twitch broadcast, recording over 80,000 concurrent viewers.

Reacting to the development, Xxsive applauded Davido’s active involvement and readiness to uplift others in the industry. He publicly stated that, as a Wizkid fan, he still believes Davido currently holds the title of Africa’s biggest artist due to his hands-on attitude, industry connections, and willingness to create opportunities for people around him.

Xxsive went on to humorously compare Davido’s approach to Wizkid’s, suggesting that Wizkid is more reserved and less likely to make public moves for others. He jokingly implied that anyone waiting for Wizkid to intervene on their behalf might be waiting for a very long time.

He further teased fans by hinting at switching loyalty from Wizkid’s FC fan base to Davido’s 30BG camp, citing Davido’s visible support system and generosity.
