He reminded his supporters that his journey to the presidency was marked by intense struggle during both the primaries and the general election, noting that he is prepared to face similar challenges again. The President also launched a specific critique of past economic policies, targeting the privatization efforts overseen by Atiku Abubakar during his tenure as Chairman of the National Privatization Council. Tinubu questioned the success of those initiatives, pointing to the current state of the Ajaokuta Steel Company and other projects in the Niger Delta as evidence of failure.
