Arsenal Crowned Premier League Champions After Man City Slip Up
Arsenal have officially won the 2025/2026 Premier League title following Manchester City’s 1-1 draw against Bournemouth on Tuesday night.
Pep Guardiola’s side needed a victory to keep their title hopes alive until the final round of matches, but the result means City can no longer overtake Arsenal with only one game remaining.
Bournemouth took the lead through Kroupi Junior, who scored with a curling strike beyond goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Manchester City struggled to convert their opportunities, while David Brooks missed two chances that could have extended Bournemouth’s advantage.
Erling Haaland eventually scored a late equaliser for City, but it was not enough to keep the title race going.
The outcome confirms Arsenal as league champions, ending their long wait for another Premier League trophy. The Gunners are now expected to receive the title during Sunday’s match against Crystal Palace.
